Daniel Stern started his career on Broadway, but he already had an established Hollywood career in the ’80s. His breakthrough came in the mid-’90s with the role of Marv in now-classic “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2,” playing a team of bad guys with Joe Pesci.
Lately, Stern could be seen in the TV shows “Manhattan” and “Getting On,” but he hasn’t been too devoted to acting. He moved to doing community service projects and has his cattle ranch. President Obama honored him with the Call to Service Award in 2009.
